doc postponed my surgery due to thyroid levels ... hypo...anyone have this happen?
Are you already in synthroid, levo etc? If so seem like your dosing probably needs to be adjusted. It may take a few weeks for an adjustment to meds to reflect in your blood work though. More importantly how do you feel? Are you showing hypo symptoms? I prefer when docs prescribe based on symptoms, vs. lab work when it comes to thyroid issues.
IE-- My most recent thyroid levels suggest my levo dosage is a bit to high, but my endo prefers to leave it be since I'm not feeling any effects of it. My levels have always been hard to control-- so I understand not taking knee-jerk reaction to a relatively minor out of range result that causes no symptoms.
As for second guessing--I think anything that comes up as you approach surgery will be viewed as a 'sign'. Take it for what it worth, an abundance of caution to ensure your best possible outcome.

I had to wait to. My Doc changed my med level and they had me wait a little over a month two recheck. Levels were in range so my date was set. I am 13 months out now and levels last month were all good. When I was told I had to wait I thought it wasn't going to happen but it all turned around. I have lost 123 pounds and loving it. Good Luck
