Morning. Re: concealer-- I use MAC's paint pot. The little thing lasts me forever cause I don't use it much. Some say you should put on concealer after the foundation-- I disagree. Maybe I'm blending wrong but if I do that and take a picture you can easily notice the concealer.
Time since Surgery: 7 months
M1: Yogurt and Granola (this morning I realized how totally sick of this I'm getting!)
M2: Cheese stick and cashews
M3: Turkey breast over salad
M4- Chicken Breast over Eggplant melange (spelling??)
I'm not the least bit excited about my menu today-- I think because the sweet potato pie we've been working on since thanksgiving is almost done-- and that sweet treat will be gone. (Never mind the damn pie doesn't agree with me and feels like a lump of butter sitting in my esophagus-- at least that kept me from taking a huge hunk of a slice and then going back for 2nds and 3rds)...but it was good. break from the usual.

Well, it's raining in Syracuse, and it's also raining in Detroit. I will say, that I don't mind it too much, as long as it doesn't stick around for a week. I'm kinda hoping for snow. I'm getting in the Christmas Spirit. This weekend we went Christmas tree shopping at a tree farm about 30 minutes from us. It was a beautiful cold day, and the farm has a cute little barn decked out for the holidays. I got my Christmas card picture for free when a lady that works there snapped it with my phone. Here's my complete family:
I love my boys so much. I'm going strong on my Christmas shopping. I've gotten a ton of stuff knocked out, but we buy for a lot of people. We draw names on my inlaws side, and buy for everyone on my side (two brothers, their wives, mom and dad and 4 neices) Inlaws side has 6 neices and nephews. My inlaws side, each of us only buy for one person, but we buy big, so it's a $200 limit. I bout my father in law a 30" smoker, got it on cyber monday for $165. It's a bit overwhelming, but we are all really close and spend a lot of time together. my Inlaws live around the block and the kids are there all the time, so we see them weekly. But that adds up to big bucks. this year Amazon.com had their 7" basic kindle fire on sale for $34.99. I bought 5 of them. All of the neices and nephews that didn't have a tablet of some sort already is getting one for Christmas. You were only allowed to order 2 per account, so i had to buy two from mine, two from my husbands and the 5th from my oldest account. Can't go wrong with a $35 tablet.
Anyway, food is getting on my nerves. I'm fighting lots of head hunger. I think that I just ate way too many carbs over the holidays and now that's all I want. I had to bring some baked sweet potatoes in to work just to get them out of the house. I'm putting my foot down, no more carbs.
Oh, also there is this thing that I've recently found called Banza Chickpea Pasta. I picked up a box. a 2oz serving is huge, it has 190 calories and 14g of protein. it also has 32g of carbs (gah) I am making it for my family tonight, and plan on having 1/2 an ounce to try it out. It's a local company that makes it here in Detroit. I'm not sure how it is, so I'll let you guys know tomorrow. Here's my menu for the day:
B: Light and fit cherry and 1/2 a click mocha
L: turkey veggie soup and a spinach salad with turkey, cukes and green onions. I forgot my salad dressing, so I found a package of Marzetti Buttermilk Ranch dressing in my desk drawer. It's high fat, high calories, but at least it's low carb. I'll use 1/4 of the package.
D: Trader Joe's sweet italian chicken sausage with a chunky veggie tomato sauce with 1/2 ounce Banza chickpea pasta.
S: Chicken jerky and a cheese stick.
