I've heard of the "3 week stall", but this seems never ending!
I also stalled at about 4 weeks out. I did not loose a single ounce for two weeks and started to get a little nervous. It did start coming off again!. It is really nice to have a place like this to come to and find people who truly understand and can give a few words of encouragement. Keep the faith and just keep working the program. It will start coming off again before you know it.
I stalled for 2 weeks at the 3 week mark, and then @ the 11th week I stalled for almost 4 weeks. I hadn't joined this website and I was very upset by my stall. I really wish I had found this forum before I had my surgery! I stalled again for 2 weeks in Nov. and I know it won't be the last. What is nice is that after my stalls I tend to just melt. As for the swelling, my calves swell almost daily for some reason. When I take my bath before bed(trying to help with my insomnia****ep my legs up on the wall the entire long hot bath. Seems to help a lot for me :)
Make sure to get your fluids and protein and walk walk walk ^^

This happened with me and I started at about the same weight as you. HW 456 SW 412 I lost 12 pounds in the first 2 weeks after surgery and then stalled for 7 weeks. I was a total wreck. I followed all the advice from my MD and dietician. The best guess was that since I lost a lot of weight right before the surgery I went into an early stall. My dietician also felt that I wasn't eating enough calories for my BMI which was 65. I can't say what really changed, just that I hung in there and finally started losing again. I did notice how much looser my clothes were getting even without losing weight. I am now at 354 (surgery 7/22/15). I also did not exercise that much due to problems with my knees. Now I can walk a mile which is a huge accomplishement for me.
Hang in there. We all are different and go at our own pace. It's is hard not to be discouraged or blame yourself, but the weight will start to come off again.
at 1 week post op, I weighed more than when the morning of surgery, by 11 pounds! I was so discouraged, until my husband reminded me of all the fluid they pumped into me, plus the gas they used to expand my stomach - at 2 weeks, had lost a total of almost 30 pounds, so I was estati****il I hit my weight stall for 3 weeks - but thankfully, I believe the scale started moving again this morning - I just tell myself, like humans, scales need a vacation also - On that note, all these posts have made me feel a lot better, and that's why I love my OH family so much!!

Thank you guys for all the wonderful responses!! I go to the doctor Friday, so I am hoping the scale moves. I also weighed myself this morning, and according to my scale, it says I'm out of the 400's (by 2 pounds, but hey, I'll take it!! lol), but i'm not sure if its correct or not. My husband put weights from his weight set on it, and it seems to be accurate, so I think I'm kind of excited :) Maybe my first stall has come to its end! woohoo!!
