How long do you take chewable vitamins?

I took a chewable for about two years, then  changed to another one...This is about the time the body adjusts to the surgery changes and tries to by-pass the by-pass...be careful.Just get one small bottle to start  a different one..then if, you tolerate it well, Stock  what-ever period of time you are comfortable....because..

Some people do have Odd reactions to certain formulas. ..Centrum is a goood vitamin, but made me ravenously hungry! We never could find out why, but  we changed it back and forth several times and each time within two days, I had a  hurting hunger I could not shake for  20 hrs...

My instructions said chewables/liquids were for the early, healing weeks.  However, my brain mode started out thinking of both the multi-vitamin and calcium chewables as treats for the day so it stays that way; a couple downfalls to chewables may be expense and the lovely discovery to see colored saliva on the outside corners of the mouth.  Another stuck-thought is adult-strength, liquid Tylenol works faster than pill form.  After a fiber gummy yanked a crown off my tooth, I've sworn off gummy anything thanks to the dental bill. Stay "religiously" and you'll do fine.

I was allowed to take regular pills after one week post op.  We were encouraged to use chewables for the first couple of months -- only because a lot of patients found it easier and encouraged compliance.

Truthfully -- at nearly two years out, I still use my chewables (Celebrate) - and my only reason is that I consider them my "treats" --

I am embarrassed to say that I look forward to my "treats" -- and thus, it has helped me to be completely compliant for the past two years.  I have NEVER missed a single dose!  HAHAHAHA.

I can't see any reason for you to stay with chewables if they aren't pleasant for you.

I don't do the chewable multis like Kat, but I do take Celebrate Calcium Plus 500 chewable, because they are delicious. But ignore her advice about the berry flavor. Orange burst is the best.

For your information, Grim, I use the Sour Cherry flavored Calcium Plus 500 --- secondly, I have a boiler and radiators in my house, too.  You've been warned.

Orange burst ... BLAH, spit, ick.

Is it a nice cellar? Is there steak? I wouldn't mind being chained up as long as I'm well looked after.
