How long do you take chewable vitamins?
i take my vitamins religiously but would love to switch some back to regular pills. I take other meds in pill form and have no problem but calcium and multi vitamins in particular are large so I was wondering for the vets specifically if you ever switched back to pill form or stay on chewable/gummy?

Not a vet, but I switched back to pill form ( Centrum Silver ), relatively quickly.
At my 2 year check up, my doc's partner asked if I was taking chewable or pill form. I said pill, and I got the stink-eye from her. She told he they needed to be chewables. It was then my turn to give her the stink-eye. I nodded, said "Okie Dokie" and that was it...haha. I still mostly use pills, and my numbers are fine, but I bought some Centrum Silver chewables a while back just to remind myself how awful they taste.

A cheesecake flavored chewable multi would make me a happy girl. They need to make those.

I'm 7 years out and still take chewable multivitamins because I like the taste. Regular vitamins give me a horrible aftertaste.
If you don't have problems taking other pills, I don't think it would be a problem for you to switch.
And I don't think we are ever supposed to take gummies.

There are a LOT of things missing from gummies. Compare the label on any gummy or children's vitamins with an adult complete, like Centrum. You'll be able to see everything they lack.

I can't speak for your program -- but the Cleveland Clinic actually has us sign a paper acknowledging that using Gummy vitamins is considered non-compliance. They simple cannot/don't meet any of the requirements for post WLS patients.
Here's a link about how Gummy vitamins are not even good for regular folks:
