What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
That's a really nice picture!
10,000 steps? Anyone can do that. I had 322 steps yesterday. It takes really, really hard work and dedication to have a 322 step day.

LOL Grim! You are also recovering from exploratory surgery and an ulcer, so I am impressed with you getting that many steps ;) Sadly I had about 2,000 steps yesterday so at 7 pm I bundled up and walked 6 miles. I couldn't be such a slug after three days of rain. I like reaching my daily step count before work - that means walking to the bar tonight is just an added bonus ;) Rest up and feel better!
I'm addicted to getting my steps in too. I have 2,519 for the entire week so far. I usually get that before a lot of people wake up in the morning. I briefly thought about slipping my Fitbit into the nurse's pocket so she could carry it around all day.

Ha! That would be hilarious! Do you have a pet at home? When you're discharged you could put it on your dog or cat's collar ;) I would feel seriously anxious about my steps being low but helllooooo you need to rest and recover!!! I am a cautionary tale - after my arm lift I got back to my 10,000 steps a day on post-op day 2 and went back to the gym at five weeks and then developed a seroma :( So do as I say, not as I do :)
My SIL devises ideas for her Fitbit. She thought of putting hers on the cat's collar. But I'm not sure -- cats lie around an awful lot.
Her One holder is purple, my brother's is black. She thought about putting her One in his holder before he goes out to golf.

Funny!! If I were there I would walk for you.
When I need alone time, I take my daughter's fitbit with me, too. That way she is happy she is getting steps and I get peace and quiet. Win-win.

It wouldn't be right if you walked for me. If you carried me, that would be alright.
