What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Welcome to Photo Friday, my menu friends! Post 'em if you got 'em!
Yay, we made it to the weekend! I am actually leaving work early today to get a jump on our second trip downstate, so my menu is incomplete. Deal. LOL
So, we finally made it through the last of the leftover turkey from Sunday, which I find strangely satisfying. I hate to throw away leftovers. I even used the last of the green beans, which I hadn't cooked, and made sweet and hot quick pickled green beans. They're not going to be ready until later today, so I can't test until after we get back, but I can't wait! They smell amazing.

Ahh... the weekend. How I've missed you. I woke up today feeling like a zombie, I was drop dead tired and sore everywhere. I'm guessing its due to Masters Swim class. Oh, and you know what I found out? I can't swim.. at least not technically correct. :( My new coach has given me at least 10 things I'm doing wrong. Considering I teach small children to swim this is a very big blow to my psyche..
Low carb has been amazing. My scale hasn't moved like this in months. I did cheat somewhat yesterday (half a brownie and half a piece of toast) but I was still in the 70s. Let's see how good I can be this weekend.
