Myfitnesspal and a shocking discovery

Usually for me if I alter the calories I have to do it twice in a row, then it sticks. I have no idea why that happens, but if I change it, go back to the main page, then go back under goals and change it again it sticks. Sorry, I would've included that in my original post, but I hadn't seen your post. I was focusing on the Carbs/Protein/Etc. that the OP was asking about without being premium/on a computer. Maybe try the double change and it'll work for you too?

I pay for the premium version of MFP and you can make those changes on the app. I figure that I use it multiple times per day, so I might as well support the people who made it, and not subject myself to advertising.

I paid 50 bucks for a year, which I consider to be quite the bargain. The monthly plan is too expensive at nearly 10 bucks a month.

Goals > daily nutrition goals edit > change and save.

i have mine set at 600 cals. 20% carbs(30g) 30% fat 50%(20g) protein(75g)

if you click end day on your diary it'll yell at you for not eating enough so just ignore it lol

Yes, I agree! I have tracked daily since the start, but sometimes it is too hard to get it all into the app before I pack my food for the day and run out the door, so I "eyeball" it. I'm pretty good at getting it about right with a lot of practice, but there are still days that I am shocked by the numbers and have to rethink dinner because the day was not what I thought it was!

I have actually been putting my food in weekly so I know what to eat that day. can always edit if I have to change something

That was one change I wasnt expecting. Since my surgery I am more organized in all areas of my life. A very welcome change I might add ^^
