All good things
So I got an email from my surgeon's office- they asked if I'd be willing to mentor a new patient. They said this particular patient reminds them of me, so I'm really curious to chat with her to see if I see what they see. I'm happy they feel I'm doing well enough to guide someone else.
Also, I singed up for a weight loss study my job is doing in conjunction with a local university. I really didn't know what it entailed-- but yesterday I got a brand new Withings scale to use (& keep) as part of the study. It connects via Bluetooth to my iPhone and also syncs my nutrition/exercise date with my fitness pal. Just what I needed to stay motivated-- a new toy!
Now Santa just need to bring me a new heart rate monitor for Christmas :-)

Love the mentor idea. I would have loved to be assigned a mentor when I was first thinking about it--very nice program!
