What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Oh, I forgot to say that the last time when I got the ticket was like 6 or 7 years ago.
Last time I got pulled over cop said I made a left turn on red-- I disagreed but knew his word was gospel so didn't bother to argue-- which is why I think he didn't ticket me. He did "warn" me that my registration card wasn't signed and I could be ticketed for not signing it. Seriously?? They should put some sort of notice on the registration telling people that-- I didn't think it was such a big deal. {shrug}

Good morning. I'm struggling with the snacking, I have to get the **** out of my house. I ate some bbq potato chips, 5 peanutbutter M&Ms and a light and fit for dinner last night. I did adjust, and my new total for yesterday was 800 calories, and 80 grams of protein because I swapped my afternoon snack out for more turkey jerky. I just have to get my head back in the game. When people say that there is a carb addiction, they are not joking. Carbs beget carb cravings, and the more I have the more I want.
Resetting again today, and taking ownership of my choices. They are ordering pizza and salad for lunch today at work, so I packed shrimp and my own salad dressing. I am not having any pizza at all.
I have been pulled over 3 times in my life. I've been driving for 25 years. The first time I was speeding, doing 48 in a 35, in the rain, while talking on a cell phone and driving a stick. I was 8 months pregnant with my oldest son, and considered faking labor to get out of the ticket, but I didn't. I said "I'm sorry, officer". That was over 16 years ago. he gave me a ticket for 5 over and I paid it the next day. The other two times were for stupid stuff. The first was a warning, and the second I got a ticket for a headlight out, but just took it up to the sheriffs office when it was fixed and they wiped the ticket. I've also never been in an at fault accident, and until about 5 years ago I had never been in an accident. Some 17 year old kid rearended me, the little hoodlum.
Anyway, I'm excited for Thanksgiving, and even though I've struggled the last few days with food, I'm bound and determined to get back on track.

Ugh... I seem to get some type of ticket about every 3-4 years. But the funniest time we got pulled over was when my hubbie was driving. It was Christmas Eve Day and we were about 10 miles from my parents' house. My husband passed a car that was going 55 mph in a 55 right in front of the State Trooper. Of course he pulled us over. The best part was when he said "why would you put your children in danger by going above the speed limit. Well, If these are your children.." (said in the most condescending voice ever) He actually gave us a written warning and let us go.
