What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning all! I woke up to about 2 inches of snow. I'm sure it'll be gone by the time I get home, but that first snowfall is always a shocker when the sun comes up. Plus, it's super cold and I hate being cold. hmph
Who's got two thumbs and a 3 day work week? This girl! Woo! Although, we are traveling for Thanksgiving this year. Boo! I've gotten so used to just being at home and drinking mimosas in my jammies on T-day morning, and now we're hitting the road for my BIL's house. This is the BIL who says dinner's at 3 and we probably won't sit down until 7. As long as my other BIL brings the beer, I'll be OK. LOL And then we're actually staying downstate for a couple of days; Matt is helping his brother with a tile project and I'm descending on my Dad's house like a fury with a bucket of cleaning supplies and extra vacuum cleaner bags and I'm going to gut out that pit and make him throw away allll of the mail that he appears to have been hoarding for the last couple of years. phew The last time I was down there I told him I was doing it so he better not give me any **** LOL
So, who's doing what for Thanksgiving?

Snow? I can't even... I really think I have PTSD from last year in Boston.
I am not traveling for the holiday, so I am pretty happy to have the time off to get myself and my house organized before heading back to work next week. Eep.
My NSV this weekend: I bought a pair of SIZE 8 PANTS!
B: chai protein shake (hot)
S: almonds and babybell cheese
L: lettuce, cottage cheese and grilled chicken
S: quest bar
D: turkey chili with beans
Exercise
I was really lazy this weekend. I'm fighting through a bad cold and feeling blah, so I didn't do much. I think I will just ease back in with a long walk in the sunshine today.

I hear you about missing a nice quiet Thanksgiving at home. I am going to see my sister in Jacksonville. I am excited to get away from the snow! But I am kinda sad that I don't get to relax. Oh well, I am mostly nervous about flying and being away from home for several days. I am getting panicky about not having protein shakes and not being able to bring any liquids, and my sister doesn't understand. I haven't seen her in a couple of years, so I am sure she will be shocked. So my plan this week is a bit different that usual. Today I am working on finishing leftovers before I leave.
