7 weeks out and my weight loss has stopped
I'm sure everyone already covered this, but if you have done any research/reading before surgery, you should know stalls are part of the process. The problem is, when it happens to us we forget all that we read and go into panic mode. Relax. Follow the rules and you will continue to lose the weight. You will. Your body is adjusting and sometimes that results in a bit of a stall on the scale.
As for your eating issues - just try different foods that are part of your doctors plan with the focus on getting in the protein. It's super important. If you still can't, then you need to see your registered dietician. I saw mine every month in the first 6 after surgery and she was super helpful.
Just hang in there. Eventually this new life will balance out and you will find a normal for you.
I am only 3 weeks out but have a protein suggestion..fat free refried beans with a pinch of shredded cheese and a small dollop (tsp) of ff sour cream. I tried that the other night and it worked out great and it was a nice change from cottage cheese and yogurt (still can't do eggs though and even the thought makes me nauseous)
Good luck
