How the Non-RNY people live
I am choosing tomake stuff for next year because
1) I hate people who complain but dont do anythign constructive to fix it.
2) there is an orphan group of wls'ers and diabetics and others on controlled diets that would like to partake but cant.
Looks like it is on me.

That is so sad.
When we see people here on OH, most are very aware and try their best to follow plan. If they didn't try, they wouldn't be coming here. We don't see the ones who eat like they never had surgery because they aren't focused on the journey.
If I ever stop showing my face here at least once or twice a month, then worry about me. It means that I've fallen off of the wagon and I need to get back on track.
I totally get where you are coming from. Accepting that I'll never be 'normal' is hard to swallow at times. After all this surgery was a huge effort in making me "normal", normal health, normal size. But damn that normal thinking part!
The few times that there have been treats in the office since my surgery I was actually surprised at how easily I could avoid them; meaning no one coaxed me into trying something, or they easily accepted the excuse I offered. I recall time when my kids were younger people would give me left overs from parties for my kids. Little did they know my kids never saw those goodies.
Kudos to you for making an alternative. I'd use it as an excuse for falling further in to my introverted ways and simply not socialize :-)
5'6.5" High weight:337 Lowest weight:193/31 BMI: Goal: 195-205/31-32 BMI
I want to change things and help others.
So...I work to socialize and change things when I can.
This weekend..I am pretty scared. It is tae bo instructor certification camp. I have read on the internet that people FAIL those things.
In the gym, there were THREE classes that I could kinda keep up on when MO. they were step aerobics, tae bo, and body pump. Step and Tae bo took modification but the instructors were really good about showing the "normal way" (i.e. easy way) and a "bigger challenge" (i.e. the REAL HARD way). If it werent for them..I would have quit the gym.
Now, I hope I am reasonably fit enough to do what they did for me to others (I.e. give back). So now, I gotta try.

You are not the only one who has had this problem, but it never fails... junk sells. If it is unhealthy, illegal or immoral it sells at a premium price!
Do not be surprised if yours does not sell. I would not "publish" that it is a healthy alternative. Those who are looking for a healthy option will have an alternative. Each of us know our own limits. Knowing what makes us lose control, enables us to maintain it. Hang in there!
