Lady-Style NSV!
TMI alert!
As a result of my PCOS I have had amenorrhea for years.
Well, this week for the first time in 7 years, I'm surfing the crimson wave without any medical intervention! My cycle is back and I could not be happier. I never thought having cramps would make me smile, but there we have it :)
I'm damn happy with my choice to get WLS!
I started the day after my surger(ies) and wasn't due for 2 more weeks. After that my periods were horrendous. At 8 months post-op I went in for an ablation thinking that would be the end of it. Nope, the ablation failed and I still get horrible periods. I take tramadol when the cramps are really bad. Anyways I digress... I'm glad you're happy about this... :)

Oh man, that sounds awful. Sorry to hear the ablation didn't work either! I have a family member who has similar periods to you and it seems like torture :(
I'm sure the getting cramps novelty will wear off really quickly for me, but right now it's nice to feel like my cycle is becoming more normal.
