What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Happy Wednesday and THANK YOU TO ALL SERVICE MEMBERS-PAST AND CURRENT!!!
I totally relate on the plastic surgery front. However I don't think I will ever do it. I hate medical stuff and the thought of all those drains, stitches and staples-yup I just talked myself out of it again LOL. I also don't know where it would stop, as you describe...tummy, arms, legs and then what?!?!
Time since surgery: 15 months today!
B: SF latte, egg beaters with spinach and cheese, fruit (apple slices and dried figs)
L: Edamame and Mung bean fettuccine topped with grilled chicken breast and Alfredo sauce, a few baby carrots, and L&F yogurt
S: Quest banana nut muffin bar and a SF latte
D: Flat bread pizza with Alfredo cheese and turkey and some artic zero
E: 45 mins stationary stepper
V/W: On track
Totals: Cals:1093 Protein:110 Carbs:134 Fat:24
Have a great one!
I never heard of that edamame/mung bean pasta. I'll check it out.
I saw this http://www.netrition.com/explore_asian_mung_bean_fettuchini. html
Is this the kind you use?

I forgot to add my thoughts on plastics. I plan on having my tummy and boobs done, because I already have really bad saggy tummy/boobie issues and I still have 75lbs to goal. I'd consider arms, and I don't think I'll need thighs, but those two are not on the top of my list.
Also, the scale this morning told me I'm halfway to goal!
Thanks to all our veterans!!
Dear Angry Viking,
I am about 11 months pot WLS and I am thinking, like cut it all off - NOW - esp my arms!!! I know it is better to wait and focus on maintaining my weight for 2 years before plastics.
I think the back hoe is a perfect trad-off for the plastics.
Funny story: The lady I bought my house from gave her husband a kidney (odd, but she was a match) and she didn't even get a new washing machine. The one she was using leaked ho****er so she had to turn it off at the wall, and the dial was broken, so she needed a pair of pliers to turn it on. Seriously, if I was giving up a kidney, I would get a new washer AND dryer.

You know what? The lid on my washing machine has been broken for like a year. I have to use a bungee cord hooked to the water pipe to hold it open. LOL I'm adding that to my list of "things I must endure" to get me one step closer to plastics.
