Measure cup or weigh servings?
Kitchen scale. This one:

I use a scale - I agree about measuring cups being too easy to cheat on. A scale is much more precise and I just wanted to be able to see exactly what it was I'm getting. I measure everything at home and now I eyeball things and then weigh them so I can practice to see if I'm close so when I do eat at restaurants I can feel comfortable knowing I might be somewhat close to what I should be eating size wise.
How much food can you guys handle? for people who use measuring cups, how many cups can you handle in one sitting? and for people who weigh their food how much can you eat at one sitting?
I eyeball my food but i think sometimes i eat too much and can't decide how much i should be eating.. Looks like when i eat solid food like chicken, meat i tend to get full pretty quickly but when i eat things like soup, salad etc i can eat 2 cups no problem.. I am 10 months out.. do you guys think thats too much to eat?
I'm also interested in how much I should be eating. I'm revision from vertical sleeve gastrectomy to RNY 10/26/2015 and will be starting on pureed foods tomorrow. I'm unsure how much I should be eating when I start on denser foods. I'll be purchasing a digital kitchen scale as soon as I make this post because I intend to do it all right this time around. Thanks!
