Thank you for your reply. I guess I just need to keep going according to plan.

I understand your frustration and just want to say you are not alone.  I have been within a pound or two of 145 for a couple of months -- and truthfully, I log every day, measure and count everything -- so it's pretty frustrating.  I want to get to 135 to 138 -- and while a lot of people can't understand, it IS really frustrating to be maintaining while eating so little.

I do think that you have to take the stress your body is under and the surgeries into consideration.  I do think that stress contributes to a slower loss and your body does know what it is doing sometimes.

I do believe that you aren't over-eating because neither am I.  That's why it's frustrating.  However, do keep your eye out for little things that could be sabotaging your work.  For example, I would sometimes eat a few cashews (about an oz) and that's a lot of calories for very little volume.  Or, I would drink several individual crystal light packages in water -- those are 10 calories each -- it doesn't take long to add another 50 calories without any real benefit.

One thing that REALLY sucks about getting smaller is that it takes SO FEWER calories to maintain that lower weight.  Truthfully, I am in maintenance at 1000-1200 calories.  That's not very many.  It sucks.  It's like, "Congrats on losing weight!!  Your reward is that you get to eat even LESS!!!"  Joke is on us...

Stay strong.  Drink your water, get your protein in and stay on plan.  It will come off, albeit more slowly.

Do you have a lot of loose skin? My doctor put my goal weight about 20lbs higher than my ideal BMI because he said I'd need plastic surgery and breast reduction. You seem so close to goal but every physician has their own unique plan. You've come very far and have great control. I hope to be as successful as you.

Yes! I have alot of loose skin but my surgeon has never said anything about needing it done. I hope to have it done but the cost is a factor. You could be right and with the skin off I could be at goal. Thank you
