on 11/4/15 6:54 am
Good morning. I have been away the past few days for my 25th anniversary. We had a great time. We ate pretty healthy . I did have a few glasses of wine but we walked a lot which was great. I will post pictures on photo Friday.
B:Eggs with ham and cheese
S:?
L:Turkey and cheese roll ups with pickles
D:Chicken on a salad
Water is going down. Vitamins are in. So it's going to be a good day.
OK first I have to tell you I was at COSTCO yesterday and took a sample of a chicken curry samosa.... except I didn't realize the lady had put a basil sauce on it, I thought it was just green curry.... Problem is I am HIGHLY ALLERGIC to Basil. SO I needed to run to the car to get Benadryl ... so I was a zombie the rest of the day and had to run a meeting last night. The last 20 minutes I was delirious...
Second can I say I am addicted to Cuddli-duds. I discovered these last year they have the thin microfiber ones you can wear under your pants that keep you warm. Bought some at Target this week.. then they have the fuzzy pajama like ones and I bought a pair this morning at Walmart...
B: Vanilla shake with coffee syrup... (yuk)
L: Cottage cheese and apple
S: Kind BAr
D: Grilled Chicken, Veggies
Started the 21 day fix again.

Gotta be fast sometimes. I type all of my posts into a document on my desktop so it looks like I'm actually writing a letter, then I ninja post it when it's complete. It cuts down on the amount of time I'm on the internet on my work PC. I read all of the posts on my phone, I guess it's just as bad to have my nose stuck in my cell phone, but IT can't see that.
Yesterday was a rough day, I went with my mom to her appointment and the pulmonary specialist was very thin lipped. He asked her why it took her a month to get in, and she said "Your office is really busy, I couldn't get an appointment." I think the big problem is that she's just not aggressive enough. Anyway, the news is not good. The doctor seriously suspects lung cancer, she's been smoking for 48 years and this type of lesion has a 95% chance of being malignant, but she's also been a smoker for 48 years, so you do the math. They are scheduling a PET scan, but I'm worried because her kidneys are so bad and she has an appointment to have a stint put in because one of her kidneys is blocked and completely full of fluid. She's still smoking 1 to 2 cigarettes a day, and I made her promise to throw them away. I told her I didn't want her to die. She's 61 and has 6 grandkids that she needs to be around for. I sent her a text this morning telling her to be strong and sending a pic of my baby with a bucket on his head. That would cheer anyone up.
So, I kinda indulged last night, but I don't feel too bad about it. I had pizza, but it was thin crust and I only had half a slice with crust, then I ate the toppings off of another slice. Only problem is that there is left over pizza at home. I am eating healthy again today, and yesterday was a very light day overall.
My plan for today:
B: Light and Fit Caramel Apple Pie w/ half a banana and coffee with SF peppermint mocha creamer. I was excited to see the Coffee mate is selling my faves in SF this season.
L: romaine salad with shirmp, celery and avacodo with Skinny Girl Poppyseed dressing. I think all the salad I've been eating lately has helped to fix my digestive issues. Go, roughage, go!
D: sauteed shrimp with zucchini noodles in a garlic, butter parm sauce.
S: Triple Zero yogurt
Cal: 731 Protein 78 Carb 50 fat 23
I had my post for yesterday all ready to go, but then before I could post I got the blue screen of death on my PC and lost it. I was leaving early to go with my mom and just couldn't take the time to redo it. It looked similar to today's menu, sans banana and obviously I had pizza instead of the planned shrimp and zucchini. Even with the pizza I stayed under 700 calories.
