Portable Scale

That's the one I bought, but there are so many. I like this one because the cover comes off and you can use it as a "plate" to keep your food from making a huge mess. It comes with a cover and is about the size of a cell phone. Looks like the price went up to $14 now, but still a good deal.

I weigh/measure my food unless I'm somewhere (like in a restaurant) that makes it impractical. In those cases I try to make good choices and I ask the server to ask the kitchen what the serving size is. That way I can judge how much I should be eating. The servers have always been happy to help.

I weigh and measure everything. I know me, and I know that while I will under estimate some things, it is much more likely that I will play head games with myself and under estimate.

Good morning! Well, my semi-clean eating and return to exercise landed me a 0.2 lb. weight loss this morning... I guess its a start. I decided to do a quick workout at home last night instead of driving to the pool (traffic was horrible). I decided to do the Jillian Michael's 6 week to 6 pack DVD. OMG am I sore this morning!! I totally thought I had a stronger core, I was so wrong! Anyway, I think I'll just do an easy bike ride on my trainer tonight.

Time since surgery: 16+ months

B: Coffee with cream and Jimmy Dean Chicken Biscuit

S: Protein Coffee

L: 3 oz leftover taco meat, 1/2 oz shredded cheese and 1/2 a low carb tortilla

S: Blueberry Nut Mix

D: Spicy Black Bean Burger with kraft single on a bagel thin

S: Cream of wheat with a teaspoon of Nutella :)

W/V: Started

E: 1 hr bike ride

Totals: Calories 1324, Protein 81, Carbs 115, Fat 67

Yes, it is the good kind of sore but since its my mid section it hurts everytime I try to stand up or sit down. I guess I should consider it a great reminder of last night's workout ;)

I know it's a little strange, but I like the "good" kinda sore. It shows I am engaging some new muscle. I may need to try this DVD you speak of :)

The Halloween candy needs to LEAVE MY HOUSE!! I wanted to throw it out this morning, but I know the boys enjoy their 1 piece each a night. ugh I am not even a big candy person, but man I've got some crazy hormones going on right now......excuses excuses....

(almost) 7 months since surgery

B: 3/4c 1% milk (ran out of fairlife), 1 sccop Syntrax milk chocolate

L: 1c romaine, 2oz canned tuna, 1/4c low fat cottage cheese

S: 2 Baybel light cheese

D: 1c romaine, 1oz RF cheese, 1oz turkey kilbasa, 1 tbsp light ranch dressing

S: Dannon L&F greek yogurt

Totals: Cals: 658 Protein: 85 Carbs: 33 Fat: 22

HW: 328 Program start weight: 309 SW:275.8 CW: 154.6 (12/14/16)
