Good Morning! I totally love your story-made me totally smile (even more so than my red Starbucks cup). Weekend was...well I survived my 1/2 marathon. My goal was to be under 3 1/2 hours (I know SLOW) but I made it in 2:55. I must say it was pretty awesome and other then the gnarly blister I have (going to be sporting open back tennis shoes for a few days even at work) I feel great! I did a good mix of walk/jog and really paced myself well as 10k was 13:31 pace and the full was 13:32 pace (if I do my math right, I averaged about 4.5 miles per hour?). I will post a pic of me on Friday but today you will get a pic of the bling I bought for my shoes!

Time since surgery: 14 months

B: SF latte, egg beaters with spinach and cheese, fruit (apple slices and dried figs)

L: Turkey, Swiss cheese and spinach cloud bread sandwich with spicy mustard, baby carrots, ½ blueberry ricotta bake

S: Quest pumpkin pie bar and a SF iced latte

D: Sweet and spicy tuna packet, flat out Italian bread and light and fit strawberry yogurt

E: 30 mins stationary stepper

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1210 Protein:119 Carbs:132 Fat:31

Have a great one!

Just thought I needed to add that I gave the baby a Kitkat and he took one small bite, then spit it out and said yuck. Of course, mama ate that Kitkat and the three others that were in his bucket.

Thank goodness he had no stamina for trick or treating, we don't have a ton in the house.

Hey, everyone!!!! I have been away for a long, long while! Work has just been slamming and this was one of the things that I tried to do without but it is NOT working! I have missed this thread immensely and I need it! So, work can just deal with it! LOL

So, while I have been gone... I have been okay but I have really been eating too many carbs... have to rein it in! My weight has been yo-yoing being the same 3-5 lbs and that has driven me crazy... and I really relate that back to the carb situation in my life. Oh, well... onward!

My menu today:

B: Chocolate premier protein drink and tea with truvia.

L: 2.5 oz of chuck roast and 1/2 cup green beans

D: Quality Foods - Stuffed Flounder filet... new love... it's stuffed with spinach, shrimp, artichoke and some type of breading... has 18 carbs but SO worth it.

S: (throughout the day): Protein Pumpkin Bread sans protein powder (note to self... don't bake right before bed, you are too tired)... this also has way too many carbs and I counted a whole mini loaf but can only eat 1/2 at a time so..., 1 oz of cashews, .85 oz of Old Wisconsin turkey bites.

Totals: Calories - 961 (geesh), Carbs - 62 (see, why I need to be accountable), Protein - 80, Fats - 44, Sugar - 16

No exercise today (big problem... help me get in gear).... it is raining cats and dogs and I am going to be working until around 8 tonight.

Pumpkins seeds - I have never eaten them... that I remember and certainly not since surgery! I will have to try!!! Kristen... your roasted ones sound great!

I really missed everyone... hope you have a great day!!

Highest weight - 440 lbs, Surgery weight - 395 lbs, Current weight - 291 lbs.
