What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
I made it through breakfast but it made me incredibly nauseous. TMI, but I'm sitting here fighting the urge to move some work into the bathroom with me, because I DO NOT want to be sick in my office. I'm 17 months post surgery and haven't thrown up once, yet I feel that streak is coming to an end. Ugh.
Candy corn is okay but I prefer reeses. I wont be having any candy this year though. I am 8 weeks post surgery. Staying away from sugar as much as possible. I have had the "dumping" twice which I think may have been from the fruit in the smoothy so have cut that out. That does not feel good.
Plans for Halloween? It depends on what my daughter decides to do with the grandkids, maybe go with them or maybe stay home and hand out candy. Its suppose to rain here pretty hard.
B protein smoothy
L Kale/brussel sprout/almond sliver salad with 1/2 tsp of honey mustard dressing
D ?? Not sure... likely a fish taco?
S protein drink
Im new to this group so thank you everyone for sharing. Its very helpful. I like seeing the menu's, gives me some ideas.
I am a fan of candy corn (and chocolate and anything candy related except for black licorice). I used to love the big pumpkins as a kid. I stopped buying it years ago because I had a problem with grabbing a handful every time I walked by the candy bowl (which now houses hair ties). No trick or treating for us. My kids are too old - going to parties. We don't have any at our house (I live in the woods). I may go to a local hangout of mine for a costume contest though. Haven't worn one in so long it might be fun.
