I don't feel like I'm dieting as much as mindful eating. Is that the same thing?

Some things I can eat more of than other things, obviously. I try to always have my protein first, then veggies, then carbs so I guess it has just become a way of life. However, I still log my food, if I start eating more that 1200 cal. a day and slack in exercise, I start to gain.

I don't know what a naturally thin person feels, I don't think this is it though.

Eating never really becomes second nature, it's always mindful.

Good luck!

For 13 years there is not a day I don't realize I had surgery. Regrets no. At goal yes. I really feel the secret is portion. I don't deprive but really limit

I don't feel like I'm dieting as you mean it, with a sense of denial or deprivation. However, I do approach every meal conscious of what I've eaten that day, how much activity I've done, and to what degree I can/want to indulge.

I have no idea how a naturally thin person thinks since I'm not one. :)
