Good Morning!
I'm still learning all sorts of fun things about this surgery. The latest fun thing.....apparently the only medication that is not being fully absorbed or that is not compatable with my new size is my anti-anxiety medication. I might as well be taking tic-tacs. Thankfully I have an appointment Wednesday to hopfully get this straightened out. I absolutely hate feeling on edge all the time.

Hi AV and all - happy Tuesday is right! We are one day closer to the weekend :) I am a work from home gal, but I periodically come into our office in Virginia. Today is one of those days. I dragged my but up and did a 3 mile walk in the city before getting ready and driving to the burbs. I spent the first two hours here shooting the **** with my coworkers! We laugh about how unproductive we are when we all get together ha ha. It's been fun, and so far no tempting goodies (offices are terrible in that way).
I brought my breakfast, we get provided lunch for free, and I am going out for dinner. So my menu is slightly incomplete.
B: Coffee with cream, 4 oz tuna fish, 3 oz cucumber salad (I am trying to waste less food so I brought this stuff in for breakfast - yep, I was the smelly girl opening up a container of tuna at my desk ha ha)
L: Turkey and cheese and avocado wrap, no wrap (wraps and bread don't normally sit well so I just avoid them for the most part, especially when I am in public)
D: Depends on what my coworkers want - could be seafood, could be Mexican, could be tapas
E: 3 mile walk (I hate being banned from the gym for 4-6 weeks but I am following doctor's orders)
I don't know how y'all run...I did one 5k and didn't get a high from it. I was damn glad when it was over lol. I have found a bunch of stuff that I love (solidcore classes, bollywood dance, strength training, plyofit) but running just isn't my thing, I guess. I am envious of you gals (and guys) who hit the pavement for miles and miles! Rock on!
Good morning all. AV, glad you're ok, but I can't believe you FORGOT us :-( Jerk :-P
This morning at 12:10am the commissioners of my township voted to give the library the additional $2.5 million we need for our expansion and renovation project. Yes, you read that correctly - the meeting that began at 6:30pm lasted until after midnight and I was there! We were supposed to be early in the agenda, but a controversial topic brought out a ton of people and the board shuffled the agenda, much to my sadness. But in the end, we got the money and will be able to move forward with the project - yippee!
