What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
DCgirl,
Bless you for sharing your pictures. You look absolutely amazing. All the working out has really paid off. Not to mention your healthy eating. The RNY was the best decision of my life. Not to say it's not a hell of a lot of work, but so worth the end result. I wish I could post a picture also but don't know how. Love your pretty hair too.
Have a great week end.
Robin

Plans, plans, plans. I have a dinner party on Saturday, but honestly I think I may just duck out. It's with my co-worker, and she has lots of people coming and honestly, I'm not really feeling it. I don't want to deal with eating in a social setting, as so far when in social settings, I don't eat or I over eat. I have a birthday party on Sunday for my niece. It's really just cake and ice cream at my brothers house. No cake or ice cream for me, so I'll just make sure to take something that I can eat, because my sister in law feeds their family junk. It's usually nachos with the canned cheese and no veggies at all. So, tortilla chips, taco meat and fake cheese sauce. Or pizza, lol.
As I was in line at the drive through this morning I so wanted something other than yogurt for breakfast, but Tim Horton's is a really bad place to look for healthy options. I went on their website on my phone while waiting in line, and found the lowest calorie donut hole that they had. One apple fritter Tim Bit has 50 calories, 9 grams of carbs, 4 of sugar and 1 gram of protein. I splurged, but I'm only eating half my yogurt.
Food:
B: 1/2 Triple Zero Strawberry yogurt, 1 apple fritter TimBit (dount hole). Coffee with cream and splenda
L: canned chicken with refried black beans, shredded cheese, salsa and sour cream - Yum!
D: seasoned ground beef (grassfed from TJ, my hubby is really trying to go paleo) with an ounce of brown rice and roasted brussels sprouts
S: P3 turkey, almonds and cheese / hunters sausage

I've been workin on this baby blanket for 3 days. I started it last weekend but realized I had made it way too big for me to have it finished in time for the baby shower, so I pulled it apart and started over on Tuesday. I've been working on it casually every night for the last three nights with good progress. I think I'll have it done before the baby shower on November 8th. The pic is with my baby, it took forever to get him to get OFF of the blanket long enough for me to snap this pic. It's a basic shell stitch with alternating rows 5 soft green and 5 cream color. I'm just using basic redheart super saver yarn. I'll have enough yarn to make a hat and booties as well.
