What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
I have no weekend plans either. One of my boys will spend time at a friends tomorrow afternoon. That typically make the other jealous so I'll try and do something special with him...hmmmm... maybe a bike ride. Usual laundry, etc. Oh, and I've officially made it 1/2 way to my goal-- Woohoo!!!
Time since surgery: ~ 6 months
Breakfast: oatmeal, 1 boiled egg and 1 boiled egg white
Lunch: 3 baked/bbq'd chicken wings
Dinner- I pulled out salmon & pork chops from the freezer. I'm thinking salmon with green beans.
S: (if needed) cheese stick and cashews.
I have a photo but still can't figure out how to put it in the post since the upgrade. I uploaded it to my pics. It of the coat I for for $11 @ the thrift store.

Good morning, everyone! I have very few plans this weekend too - a porch party tonight with a group of gals (apparently our friend's husband is going to be creating ****tails for us but I am only 8 days post-op so I may not drink) and then a long walk with friends tomorrow.
I just posted on the plastic surgery forum, pics from the day before my arm lift, then one day after, and then seven days after. My surgeon says my incisions look great. I am nervous how dark they are but he says a lot of it is the marker and glue, so I just have to be patient (NOT my forte) and wait. I will post the pics here as well. I got compression sleeves yesterday and while I am not sure how to hook them behind my own back, they mean I can wear regular shirts instead of an XL hoodie (which is the only thing that has fit over my Ace bandages!).
Originally, I wasn't sure if I wanted an arm lift due to visible scars but after my LBL and BL, my batwings became more noticeable! I am thrilled that I went through with it.
Top arms are one day post-op (so much bruising, thank god for Arnica tablets!), middle is how I have been wrapped up like a mummy for a week, bottom pics are seven days post-op.Time Since Surgery: Almost 23 months
B: Leftover crab tower from last night - crab meat, avocado, mango, peppers
L: A crabcake I bought to sauté up, cucumber salad (I am obsessed)
S: Mango with salt, fresh lime juice, Frank's hot sauce. Delicious, I swear.
D: Chicken breast from the deli
S: Wine?
My protein looks good today...
Have a great weekend, all!
