Asking Everyone For A Birthday Present
It makes me happy to hear other people's successes. I love reading the positive stuff going on in other's lives. It encourages me to continue the journey.
Good luck losing the weight. This forum is an excellent place to go for questions and support. Just put yourself in a can-do attitude, and no telling what you can do! You got this!
Hope you are having a great birthday! One of my NSVs of late is that my coworkers are finally noticing that I've lost weight. Since I'm a tall girl I guess it takes longer for it to be more obvious that I've lost weight. But it feels great to finally get some recognition. :) They can't believe I still have another 50 to go. lol

Happy Birthday! Isn't it awesome looking ahead to our 40's as being even better than our 30's?
I think my favorite NSV is being looked at by those who like how I look. I often don't notice it myself, but my wife tells me all the time that I'm being checked out by other women. I know it's very petty, but after spending over 20 years not being checked out by anyone, it's nice.
I was going to just write being checked out by members of the opposite sex, but a couple of weeks ago, we visited a couple of friends who happen to be gay men. We spent a couple of hours in their favorite gay bar, and I got plenty of looks from the guys there. Not my scene (NTTAWWT), but still nice.

Happy (Belated) Birthday
- I hiked and rafted the Grand Canyon for 10 days - had a great time - if I could even do it at a higher weight I would have felt mucho awkward getting in and out of the raft.
- I still buy clothes at QVC (on TV and they won my loyalty forever) because they have their manufacturers make the 3x clothes with the same cute cuts and do-dads as the size 4, but now I can fit in 8 and 10s!
- Went bike riding and not afraid tires would burst or me fall off
- Boots zip-up
- I love using my sewing machine to take it/remake my old clothes!
