Asking Everyone For A Birthday Present
HAPPY 42ND BIRTHDAY. Here is a list of NSV's: I thankfully have been able to say goodbye to Type II, high blood pressure, waking up exhausted, swollen ankles/feet, male-size shoes, stretchy all-black wardrobe, incontinence, acne, cpap masks, being stared at, acid reflux, medical avoidance, and more. The positive changes happen to match the birthday wish to you: LIVING A LONGER, HAPPIER, AND HEALTHIER LIFE FILLED WITH GRATITUDE AND HOPE.

Happy Birthday.
I have to say my best NSVs have been able to walk for hours. Being able to cross my legs. I think that was one of my first ones. Having my husband be able to wrap his arms around me and squeeze me tight.
Driving my husband's truck and having to move the seat all the way up. I used to have to move it all the way back. I think being able to go out and not worry about furniture braking is one of the best feelings.
Being able to fly without a seat belt extender. Walking as fast as my husband in airport and not having to remind him that I am with him.
Have a great day.
Happy Birthday! Here are my NSVs for you -
My 10 yr old son being able to get his arms all the way around me for a hug
Shopping in the regular size clothes section at stores
Going to thrift stores and finding an abundance of CUTE clothes
Hiking up a mountain
Jogging
Not being the biggest person when I walk into a room
I went to a swanky party at a country club last weekend with an outfit that was on point and I didn't stand out like a sore thumb.
Being able to cross my legs

Happy Birthday!!!! This is such a great way to bring us all together to celebrate not only your birthday, but each and everyone's success in general. Thank you for doing this.
While I cannot claim a NSV currently, I can say this. I am 14 years post op and have had some regain. I have not let that get me down, because I know I still have my tool and can get back on track. I do plan on losing what I have regained and celebrating my NSV's with you all. Lately my goals have been to focus on meal prep and eating more healthy. I have been able to accomplish this and find that I am slowly getting back in to my post surgery habits of focusing on the right foods. The rest will fall into place.
I look forward to reading everyones NSV with you!
