What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Congratulations! That is awesome! Think of all the new clothes you can buy with a 5% raise Ok, I mean you'll probably be a responsible adult and not buy ONLY clothing with your raise, but still...
My grocery store doesn't seem to have the ThinAddictives anymore - it initially made me sad, but in the end it's probably good because I had been letting my simple carbs creep up too much and it's probably better that I just don't have them in my house. You know how that goes with some food.
Time since surgery: 19 months
B: overnight oats (1/4 cup oats, 1/3 cup Triple Zero Greek Yogurt, 1/4 cup almond milk, 1/2 T chia seeds, 1 T PB2, 1 scoop unflavored protein powder to pump up my protein - I was supposed to eat this yesterday and then had that breakfast meeting instead and it actually seems even better today, think I'm going to start letting my overnight oats be TWO overnights oats)
S: L&F greek yogurt
L: TJ's meatballs and sauce and cheese!
S: Quest Bar!!!
D: TJ's chicken sausage
S: Chobani tube and I'll probably need something else but what depends on my TJ's run

I went by The Vitamin Shoppe last night and picked up three Pumpkin Pie Quest bars - you guys have been making me want to try one. I really don't actually like most pumpkin stuff, but I've been assured they aren't actually pumpkin-y, so we shall see.

I'm not sure what I think of it - the color sort of grosses me out, that's for sure. It definitely doesn't taste like pumpkin to me at all - I don't love it and I don't hate it... Like I'll eat the two more that I have, but don't think I'll be rushing out for more.

CONGRATS KRISTEN!!! Way to go on the promotion and the fantastic grocery deal ;) Why is life so expensive? I went to Target last night for toothpaste and walked out $50 poorer and then realized I forgot the TOOTHPASTE!! UGH! This day is goign to lovely, as I'm writing this post my hubbie calls. He forgot his keys in my car last night. This wouldn't be an issue but he LOST the extra set of keys to BOTH of our cars!! He is horrible about losing keys (or locking them in his car). I have a meeting in 20 min so he has to wait regardless. Why do boys do this??
BTW, I now have the link to my blog in my signature. Its really just in the prelims but hopefully it will keep me accountable (much like this group )

I always forget the first thing on my grocery list. I don't know why I always do that. LOL And my husband lost the extra set of keys to my car, too. Jerk.

We don't have a Target all that close to us, which is probably a good thing. We do go to one and stock up on their Up & Up disposable diapers for our little guys (we cloth diaper, but use disposables occassionaly). We NEVER leave with just the diapers...EVER!! Dangerous
