What up, yo?! That's my standard greeting when Matt calls me at work. My coworkers like to listen to me talk to my husband because there's almost always a dressing down for something. Ah, love. LMAO

Know what I hate? Fundraising. I hate being the "raiser" and I hate being the "raisee". So far this fall, my son has sold popcorn for Cub Scouts and cookie dough for school. Next month he will be selling poinsettias and apple pies; also for school. Actually, I should say I am selling, because I bring these things to work and assault my very patient coworkers. I'm not doing the pies, though. I hate that one the most because I get daily begging e-mails from the PTO about coming to help roll dough or peel apples or some other **** I cannot imagine a world where I would eat/sell apple pies that were partially assembled by snotty nosed Kindergarteners.

Yesterday I was home with really sick little boys. It was horrible! The baby was throwing up with a horrible fever and was GLUED to me all day. The 4 year old had a bad fever and was just soooo cranky!! ugh They are feeling better today, so hopefully I will be able to catch up on this HUGE PILE of work that I missed yesterday! Phew

I HATE HATE HATE fundraisers!! For real! They sell the worst crap most of the time! I mean know they need to be done since most schools dont get enough funding but, ugh.

6 months 3 weeks since surgery

B: 3/4c Fairlife skim milk, 1 scoop syntrax milk chocolate

L: Homemade bacon, onion, mushroom crustless quiche with a slice of velveeta

I am also trying to rein in some creepy up bad habits!! I have been like taking a bite, lick or taste WAY too often. Like just a bite of this here, and a taste of that there. It NEEDS to stop! Friggin mind games! I know if I was losing faster, I would NOT be doing this. Sooo an I not losing faster BECAUSE of this?? (I dont think so, but it could be)

Yeah they were miserable! The baby (actually 2 years old...but is MY baby! lol) slept on and off all day when he wasn't getting sick..or crying for me when I dared get up! So sad!

So far so good today, no fevers and no getting sick! So hopefully we are DONE with the sickies right now!

Oh I'm so sorry for your sick babies and you. Hope they are better soon. So hard when little ones are sick.

Don't fret about your little tastes, etc. I don't think that is why you are not losing faster. You may be eating too little. At least that's what my NUT tells me. At this point she told me to aim for 1,000 calories. I'm currently at about 800. So maybe you can talk to your NUT about that.

The NUT at my surgeon's office left, so my last appointment was only with the NP. Her and I don't agree on much! lol She did say I am not eating enough. Among other things I am "not doing right"...ugh

I eat 6 times a day (most days), and always eat as much as I can fit without getting sick. BUT I was finding myself eating just for the sake of eating, and that to ME ..makes me feel like it will lead to BAD HABITS later on. Know what I mean?

Cals are unusually low today, I am normally around 800. I may add some almonds to my yogurt tonight to bump up the cals

My next appointment, which hasnt even been set up yet (which is strange) is supposed to be with the new NUT they are hiring, hopefully I mesh better with her than the NP! lol

I hope your kids are feeling better. It is so hard when they get sick when you have so many other things to take care of. One thing that helped me from not eating when I was cooking was making myself something to drink. A good cup of coffee or tea. One vet posted a while back she never eats till she drink 16 oz of something. That does help me.

Old habits are hard to break but we can change.

Take care of yourself

I am not a big fan of fundraisers. I wish they would just say ask your family for money and here it is. I hate when I go to the store and there are kids there with cans every week.

I never have cash so I am like sorry. I know they need to do some fundraising but sometimes I don't even want to go into the store where they are standing.
