Im home. Made it to the other side.
I went in for surgery yesterday, they took me back and actually started the procedure at 4pm. I was in recovery by 6. Im home now. The initial pain was quite severe. I had a lot of trouble peeing until I got home. My pain level also went down from a 7 to a 5 as soon as I got here. Dorothy was right "theres no place like home". It is so amazing to finally be on the other side. Once again thanks to everyone ffor being here and being supportive. Even if you have never responded to my post personally, your posts and questions were support as well. I love my OH help family and I plan to make it to the Raleigh, NC conference next year. Kisses and hugs to you all. I am willing to answer any questions pre op folks or post op may have since I am fresh off the operating table and clearly remember a lot. Have a great night to all.
I'm glad you're on the other side. Every day will get at least a little bit better.
