Reevaluation of my diet, time to shuffle the deck

I can tell you what has worked for me. Of course, every person is different. **disclaimer: I never eat more than 35 to 40 grams total carbs per day*
If you are only snacking to meet your protein goals -- why not chose something protein heavy? How about a fruity protein shake (like Fuzzy Navel) made with water? For 100 calories and almost no carbs, you can have 24 grams of protein. Or, if you prefer "real" food -- how about a snack of a 2.5 oz pouch of white tuna at 80 calories, 0 carbs and 17 g of protein? I often eat 3 oz of ****tail shrimp -- it's a big bang for my buck at 80 calories, 0 carbs and 18 g. of protein.
I agree with the PP who suggests getting in the habit of eating more at a sitting, isn't really optimal. Not for me, at least.
edited to add: I LOVE LOVE LOVE your new picture!

The tuna thing is an excellent idea. And I actually have two in my cabinet right now. Problem is, in my warped mind; what is acceptable to be a "meal" vs. what is acceptable as being a "snack". Tuna in my head is a meal...reserved for "lunch". I think I need to adopt Grim's line of thinking and just consider it all "fuel in my tank".
I actually have a fuzzy navel at home I've been meaning to try-- maybe I'll try it tonight. I can go for something fruity.
Thanks for the compliment!
