What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
December 3, 2016. Is that enough notice?
RNY @ Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia with Dr. Tatyan Clark 3/18/2014
I am REALLY REALLY REALLY crazy about grocery shopping, I HAVE to do it!! Even after my RNY surgery, and my gallbladder surgery....my c-section and natural births. I know for a fact my husband would just ignore my list, or call me 7 million times to ask questions...NOPE NOPE NOPE

Oh my AV! My husband is the same way! Even with a list with detailed names and sizes he goes off grid and buys the cheapest largest size of everything. AGH! I feel your pain. Yesterday was a decent day. I ended up exercising last night and that was good. My sugar was way too high for the day but my protein was good. I need to be more selective on what I put in my mouth. The grazing has to stop. Where is the willpower fairy because I need my monthly dose! I think she is behind on her deliveries!
Time since surgery: 15+ months
B: Coffee with cream and oatfit oatmeal
S: String cheese
L: Leftover country style ribs with pork rinds
S: Iced coffee with cream and string cheese

S: Outshine No sugar added popsicle
W/V: Started
E: Rest Day
Have a great day all :)
I never set foot in the grocery store. It's great! I started giving my husband detailed lists, and he would of course get a few wrong things. But I kept correcting him, and eventually he started getting everything right. I just recognized that there was a learning curve, and I had to give him a few trips to figure it out. Now he knows exactly what I like, and he has the freedom to shop for whatever food he wants that's not too expensive. Leftovers last me forever, so he buys lots of frozen stuff to eat when I'm eating leftovers. It works great for us. Here is my plan for today:

Wonderful Wednesday to y'all. What's funny is in our house my hubby does all of the grocery shopping aside from any additional produce that is needed during the week. He gets it done early on Saturday morning and gets it out of the way. Glad you're having a high confidence day-rock it!! My menu id almost a copy cat of yesterday-what can I say..it's easy :)

How do you like the Quest Pumpkin Pie bars? I want to try them but don't want to buy a whole box on Amazon...I'll go see if I can buy just one bar. I hadn't thought of it.

I like it. The pumpkin flavor is pretty mild and it's quite different than other quest bars as it has a coating on it which can get a little messy if trying to eat it while driving (I may have tried to do that!) and I enjoy the graham cracker crumbles that are on top. I did buy a box (two actually) but GNC and Vitamin Shoppe both seem to sell them individually as well.
