Eight Year Follow Up

Today was my eight year follow up appointment with my weight loss surgeon. My goal weight is 136 and I weighed in at 134 today. I was wearing jeans and a bulky sweater so higher than 131.5 at home today.

All labs are great, I am so happy that I went through with this eight years ago.

My experience is that I have never had any hunger after surgery. Of course I eat protein forward. If I was on a high carb diet, then I would probably get hungry and have cravings.

I am 67 and feel more like I am 17.
