What are ulcer symptoms?
I have extreme nausea after eating any dense proteins. To the point I live on my Syntrax and Unjury shakes. Food makes my stomach "gag" or heave if that makes any sense. I can literally feel my stomach clench up. I do OK with some soft foods like cheese until I get to that gag point. Eggs are a no, soups are OK. Shredded chicken, meats with gravys, it all makes me very nauseous. I am not eating too fast and am cutting it into minuscule bites and chewing forever.
TMI, I have noticed twice now some bright red mucus you stringy things in my stool. It's just a streak here and there. Just had bloodwork and it was basically all good.
I still can't swallow any big pills, they feel stuck for a while. Even my chewable Opurity multi vitamin feels stuck in the AM's. It feels like when I drink my water after chewing it that it clogs and goes down a little at a time like a funnel. I can feel little bubbles as what liquid can trickle by goes by. Does that make any sense?
Could I have an ulcer or a stricture? I have no problems getting my liquids or shakes down and no nausea with them. It's just the solids.
I will be calling my surgeon tomorrow but just wanted to get some ideas. Bright side, I am 78 pounds down now! I feel good, tons of energy, just have these eating issues.
You are still early out, so food being hard to eat isn't uncommon. For me things started to gt better after 3 months and I really didn't feel like I could east most things until after 6 months. Tuna made me gag until 6 months, and honestly Cold cuts still don't make me feel good if I eat them..... I never had an ulcer or stricture so I can't say the symptoms.... Yes call your surgeon, hoping it is all OK...
