Aw, I have to admit, that now that I am in school, I kind of miss dressing up (even dress pants!). Especially now that I might look good in nicer things...but I am stuck just wearing the grad school "uniform" of jeans and sweaters. Somebody take me on a fancy date, please!

Today I am in the 130s! It happened!!!!
B: turkey meatballs with cottage cheese

D: pork chop with spinach (I really need to get out of my pork chop rut...)

Exercise
Already did a 2 mile walk and later I will go for a 1.5 mile run.

Don't get me started on dress pants. My suit pants I am wearing today have no pockets or belt loops! WTF! Women need those things to. I really wish I could wear a belt right now because these pants are getting pretty loose. I have to go to court this morning and then I have a make-up class during lunch, so getting my protein in is going to be a struggle today. Here is my plan:

B: Coffee with half and half and 1/2 Premier Protein Shake
L: 1 Hard-boiled Egg, 0.8 oz Chick Peas, and 1 oz Part-skim Mozzerella
S: 1/2 Package Mr. Cheese O's and .65 oz Chicken Jerky
D: 1/2 Fried Chicken Breast from Grocery Deli
S: 3 oz Unsweetened Almond Milk with 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
Totals: Cals: 699 Protein: 65 Carbs: 37 Fat: 34
E: Either Jillian Michaels or Yoga Exercise Video

1/2 a shake a day works well for me. I will drink a whole one on occasion, but generally I only need half. I tried to go without, but I started feeling sluggish and tired. I feel better when I get 70 grams of protein a day, and a half a shake is enough to get me there most days.

I guess it caught my eye because you said it was going to be a struggle to get the protein in, and that is such an easy way to get protein in. I will be in Chicago in a week and half. My son and family live near O'Hare....

Yeah, today is one of those days that I could have drank a whole shake. I just didn't have time because the federal courthouse doesn't allow anyone to bring in liquids. It is so frustrating. I bring half a shake and drink it on the way because I know I can get that much down before I get to the courthouse and have to throw it away. I wonder if they have a medical exception, but that would just draw unwanted attention.
That sounds fun. I am on the other side of the city in Hyde Park, so I rarely get that far north. If you are looking for a good place to get quick food, I suggest the Protein Bar. They have several locations in Chicago. I hope you enjoy your trip.
