So glad you're back AV, I really missed your upbeat posts yesterday. I'm sorry you had car issues, they are always the worst. I drive a 2005 focus with 136k miles. It's my commuter, and I honestly don't take very good care of it. I've sworn not to put another dime into it. I've finally convinced dh to go car shopping soon. He's got a company car that we use as our family car. So we have no car payment at all right now. After spilling that protein smoothie in it the other morning, I'm ready to trade it in. Let them clean that **** up, lol
My scale moved this morning, which made me smile. I'd stalled for a few days after losing 11lbs in 14 days. I have been feeling the urge to get moving on the exercise, but I'm funnyman it hard to get motivated.
Food:
B: Triple Zero Oikos Strawberry Yogurt, small coffee with cream and splenda
L: 2 oz of deli chicken meat and 1 oz sharp cheddar rolled up. 1oz of apples with 1tbs peanut butter
D: Chili! My husband is making it tonight, and Im super excited. He makes incredible chili. I'll be adding some shredded cheese and a dab of sour cream. So yummy. I think I'm going to try to put the unjury protein powder in to boost my protein intake.
S: 1 oz of apple with peanut butter
Total :
Cal 737 protein 73, carbs 49 fat 32
Water is going, vitamins ****ep forgetting! I need to find a way to remember then before I run out of the house in the morning.) I think I will try to run/walk the sub tonight after dinner. Its a mile, and I have gotten the urge to start trying to run. I'm at 232lbs and I dont know how far i'll get, but I think i'll try.
Vitamins: do you have a pill case (cases?) that you can fill at the beginning of the week? For me, that's key - not having to rummage in the bottles. I'm in the routine of taking them in the morning, when I get home from work, and before I go to bed, but a good friend of mine actually cares them in her purse because she was always forgetting in the morning. So she fills the case on Sunday and puts it in her bag - it's all about finding something that works for you!
Oh, and on the running thing - yes! Do it! Finding an exercise that you WANT to do is totally key to getting started/motivated if you don't already have an exercise habit - I'm sure you have heard that a million times. If you have a smartphone there are approximately a million training apps that will prompt you for intervals, etc.
Go you!

I am late, as usual. Started the day at the lab getting blood drawn as preparation for a series on infusions. Nothing big. It's a preventive treatment to up the chance that I won't get a re-occurrence of breast cancer. I'll do just about anything the will keep that crap from coming back.
Sorry about your car troubles AV. Is there anything worse? Glad you're back today. This weekend is a busy one. I have a work party this evening and then a football game after. I have my Dad tomorrow day, and then a dinner party tomorrow evening. On Sunday I fly to San Diego for the week for work. I've got to figure out how to shove a pedicure in there somewhere.
I tried to post a picture here, but cannot figure out how to do it with the changes to the site. My old copy and paste method does not work. I need a tutorial!!
My menu is incomplete because I don't know what I am doing this evening, but here it is with what I know:
B: Egg Beaters, bacon and FF mozzarella omelette
S: Toby's Tofu Pate and 4 36 Degree crackers and a mango
L: 1-1/2 oz chicken breast, 1 oz Cotswald cheddar cheese
