What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Sorry to hear about your car. Hate it when that happens.
Our weekend plans have been canceled due to the weather. It has been raining now for two days already and I am happy to hang at home and cook chili and clean. Isn't it a nice surprise to find things that fit in your closet/tubs/storage? I bought a few things from a local yardsale fb page including a winter coat for $20. Feels like a win to me.

Ok It's Friday adn waiting to see what this storm will be. My neighbors son came over early this AM to help me get the last of the backyard furniture put away, so it doesn't end up at my nerighbors. At least my pool is already covered....
B: Tea, english muffin with cream cheese ala AV
L: veggie burger
S: salad with shred cheddar
D: shrimp stir fry (never had last night.)
I should have had the shrimp last night because out of nowhere I vomited my dinner. Now I haven't gone back on Prilosec/omeprezole full time since the hellish 2 weeks of getting myself off it. for the h.pylori test..... but had taken it yesterday. I tried this Ezekial spaghetti I saw - like the Ezekial bread, didn't like it and only ate maybe a 1/4 cup with some homemade meatballs from the freezer - and (for me) I am embarrassed to admit jarred sauce. I am always sorry when I buy jarred sauce. Jarred sauce or weird pasta, not sure what was the culprit....

Good morning,
Cars suck AV! My heater is not working, it is stone cold in my car in this wet, raw weather, called the auto shop this am for an appt. Monday.
Yesterday was totally crazy at work, I refreshed a couple of times but then got too busy, finally read yesterday's news this morning. I should have known it would be nuts when I was not prepared for not having any pre-made shakes when I was going out the door, needless to say the rest of the day I did not make good choices.
I think we are not busy this weekend, but the next three or four weekends should be crazy.
Time since surgery: 5+ months
B: Shake w/Jay Robb protein powder
L: More leftover chili (finally done with it)
D: Maybe omelette, the hubby and daughter are having pasta.
S: SF pudding, babybel. I am such a creature of habit lately.
Not in MFP yet, no idea of totals.
Looking like another crazy day here. UGH!
I love that the post just went up an hour ago and there are already so many freaking things to respond to, but I'll take it one at a time. Glad you're ok, AV, even if your car might not be!
My Photo Friday is a little collage from my recent vacation on *****oteague. We've been going for several years and I always said I wanted to ride bikes while I was there. Last year (6 months post-op) I rented a bike for 24-hours and did a couple great bike rides. Well this year I had the bike all week and 6 or 7 days had AMAZING rides, mostly with my sister. It is so gorgeous there and FLAT, so it's easy to ride 15+ miles without really feeling it BUT still burning major calories. That one in the bottom left, there are tiny little wild ponies in the background, I swear!
Weekend plans around here include more time at the library for our paperback book sale AND heading off to a 4 day conference on Sunday late morning. I'll also squeeze in some time with the beau, including tonight. We're going to meet his BFF and her hubby for dinner at a restaurant I would never pick but is an town institution over where they live and it's shutting down, so they all want to get one meal in there. Thanks to DCgirl I have a plan for what to order!
Time since surgery: 18 months
B: Mint Chocolate Chip Quest bar after a 7:30am networking/professional development thing that was supposed to include breakfast but of course that means bagels and muffins - thank god for my purse stash of protein for when I'm in a pinch - and coffee coffee coffee of course
S: more coffee, L&F with sliced almonds
L: TJ's chile lime chicken burger, string cheese
S: deli ham and babybel
D: out - going to order the cobb salad with no dressing - eat chicken, bacon, hard boiled egg, little lettuce and then swear I put a huge dent in it - easy to fake how much I've eaten or not eaten (thanks for the tip, Em)
