Tattoos before surgery
Have you finally gotten that tattoo of me?
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.

I feel like your mother, but her goes: Are you nuts? Really, you can't wait a week or two. Do not do anything to compromise your immune system before surgery - your sensitive places will be sensitive from catheters, etc.

I went to a wedding this past weekend my DD was a bridesmaid in. She warned me the day before to be prepared to see a lot of piercings and tattoos. What she failed to prepare me for was the groom's large-framed father dressed in a glittery shirt, a skirt with leggings, about a size 12-wide pair of high heels, and a wig. Anyway, my DD was the most unique one there without any ink distraction. Adding that the wedding was beautiful. I caught myself staring at the father but stopped when I thought of the stares I used to get. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and life is good for all people.
