Crossing legs question

Congrats Peachy on your NSV!  It is so wonderful to cross our legs again, I echo your note on feeling so sophisticated, especially when wearing a dress, it feels wonderful.  I cross both legs, but I am right hand dominate and tend to cross my right leg over the most, not sure if the two are connected.

Keep the NSVs coming!

There's nothing sophisticated when I catch myself reaching down to my ankle, grabbing my pant leg, and lifting my leg over.  Between that and crossing legs harmful to varicose veins, I'm best to let younger WLSers enjoy that NSV, like Y - O - U

That is an awesome NSV, for sure!  I can cross either way, BUT putting my right leg over my left is MUCH more comfortable for me

Good for you!  I will be a while before I can do it! But, just thinking about it, I would probably do right over left.  I wonder if it has something to do if you're right or left handed?  I am left handed but crossing right over left would be more natural.  I just can't wait until I can do it!

That was one of my first NSVs.

Congratulations. It is a total NSV.

It was also my first one! Now I can't stop myself. I'm constantly crossing the legs. The real test is to see if I can do it at the movie theater LOL. Gratz!

First congrats on the leg crossing.

In figure skating, if you can do it just ONE way (i.e. your best side) it is considered "MASTERED" so I declare that you have MASTERED LEG CROSSING by virtue of being able to cross it on your BEST SIDE.

I read somewhere that debutantes are taught to cross at the ankles, NOT the thighs.

So, for an artistic cross combination, you could cross your left leg over the right at thigh level, hold long enough to get maximal points, unwind THEN cross your right ankle over your left!

Both directions and both crossing traditions covered!

I bet the judges will go wild!

Way to go.  By the way, I just took a Barre3 class in Berwyn (near Philia) for balance, flexibilty and strength - a few of these classes and you would be able to cross your legs both ways.  (Although all the vein doctors are screaming - don;t cross your legs).

Yes it is an NSV. I can cross both now, but one is definitely more comfortable than other.
