What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Go to Nordstrom Rack and look for the brand NYDJ (not your daughter's jeans) - I find that these fit insanely well and are soon flattering and so well made. They are kind of pricy at Nordstrom's (well each person has their own threshold - if jeans make me look good and make my ass look good I will pretty much spend whatever!) but Norstrom Rack periodically has them for $40 :)
Have you tried "Not Your Daughter's Jeans" or "Kut from the Cloth"? Both are really flattering to most adult figures, and are carried by Nordstrom. They run big, so get a pair one size smaller then you usually wear.

Morning, I had a late ringette game last night, which we won. I can definitely see the cardio and strength training I have been doing paying off in dividends in my playing. Being a 40 year old goalie with (knock on wood) good knees and still being competitive with the younger crowd is one of the best NSV I have had so far. I just need to get into yoga and/or Pilates to improve my flexibility.
I had trouble sleeping after and so I am exhausted today.
Time since surgery: 4 yrs, 2 mo.
B eggs, cheese, onions and mushrooms
snack cucumber, 24 almonds
L: 4 meat balls (plain no BBQ sauce), 1/2 C broccoli
snack: 1 HB egg, cucumber
D: 3 Oz chicken breast, salad and asparagus.
S: almonds and cucumber
Slammin back 10 glasses of water today
Excercise: Mountain Biking 1 hour, core and upper body.
My favourite food things right now? I discovered liquid stevia....no add'l carb from maltodextrin! oh and my skinny syrups and Atkins pumpkin ice cream recipe.

We had a pretty busy weekend, it was chilly out, and I almost froze!! Im am losing all my insulation!! HAHAHA I have a feeling I may need to wear long johns under all my clothes this winter!
5 Months 3 weeks since surgery
B: 3/4c Fairlife skim milk, 1 scoop syntrax milk chocolate
S: Yoplait apple pie greek yogurt (trying this for the first time, more calories and more carbs then my Dannon L&F, BUT I kind of miss apple pie)
L: Homemade low carb beef stew
S: 2 Baybel light cheese
D: 1.5oz Lite Kielbasa, 1/2c roasted carrots and onions (which will be roasted with a little EVOO, tracked and counted for)
Totals: Cals: 633 Protein: 85 Carbs: 27 Fat: 20
The scale moved again, so that made my weekend! LOL
It was SO weird being COLD last winter - but in an amazing way LOL. I always used to say I'm a hot person, but it turns out I was just an over-insulated person.
