Holy crap those both look delish!  Especially the granola.  I haven't' had pancakes, feels like it would be a trigger food for me because I would want to drown them in syrup!  Keep up the great work with all your home cooking!

NYMom... the pancakes and granola look great... I am going to try the granola, for sure! 

Good luck on your 5k... but, I think if someone tried to blow bubbles at me after I ran, I would smack them!  Have great fun!

We are going to a memorial cook out for my friend who lost a baby recently, it will be a tough one, but I need to be there for her!  Sunday will are looking at 3 houses, and maybe going apple picking with a cousin and her family.

WHY do I get all friggin nervous and bummed out when the scale doesn't go down for like a week.  I have this fear that my weight loss is just going to STOP and never go down again....WHAT THE F brain.....STOP IT!!

5 months 2 weeks since surgery

B: 3/4c Fairlife skim milk, 1 scoop syntrax milk chocolate

S: 2 Baybel light cheese

L: Dannon L&F Greek yogurt, 30g slivered almonds

S: 1oz tender bites beef jerky

D: 1/2 Old neighborhood chinese sausage, 1/2c sauteed baby spinach and sauteed onions

Totals: Cals: 729  Protein: 78  Carbs: 32  Fat: 35

Great picture!  Listen, I'm with you on the mental torture that is the scale.  I've been bouncing around the same 3 pounds for like a month.  I'm pissed.  LOL

Despite what my surgeon's office says.....I DO NOT want to still be OBESE when I finish losing weight!!  NO FRIGGIN WAY  *sigh*

I don't know what the deal is with that, surgeons giving goals that are still Obese. I understand the statistics that after 5 years if you have kept off 60% you are considered a success. But if you only shoot for 60% to start with, then in 5 years you will be more.

YES!!!  This ....exactly this!!!  I hit their goal for me at 4 months out!  And they gave me Hell for it!  UGH  I want to get as low as I can (well you know what i mean), so if I DO experience bounce back, I will still be at or lower then my goal weight!!  jeez
