Does anyone have experience working with Medicare for coverage of excess skin once they have reached their goal weight?

Were you successful in getting coverage from Medicare to deal with the skin .....or are you getting denials?

I think the only way it is covered is iffy it is causing medical problems, rashes that won't heal, etc. best way to find out is to call the numbero N the back of your card.

My surgeon told me they would pay for a pannectomy after losing at least 100 lbs.  Medicare doesn't pre approve so I was worried but he said that they had always paid for it and they did for mine.

I would have preferred a full tummy tuck but all they covered was the apron on the lower stomach.
