sort of kind of revision surgery question

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anybody else has been in a similar situation.  I had the lap-band in 2007, and had it removed in 2009.  I'm now just waiting on my date for RNY.  I know that typically the expectation is band to RNY revisions lose more slowly....but what about when there is a 6 year break in between?  I haven't come across any examples, and I'm wondering what to expect.  I'm trying to stay in the mindset that I may not lose as quickly, but I can't help but wonder if this is more like being a brand new WLS patient.

Thoughts?

i had band, then a new band, then a removal of band, then two years after RNY.. The band left scar tissue ( I had big issues with my band/hole was in my tummy from it) anyways, they did have to make my pouch 'larger than normal' but its the BEST thing ive done in my life so far!!

Im 4 1/2 mnths out and down almost 100 lbs!  i stick to the plan and you can do it! :))
