Pre-Surgery Testing

My patient advocate who is guiding me through the pre-process can not tell me if there is a baseline set of testing that the MD requires before surgery.

Can anyone share with me what types of testing your MD had you complete before you were cleared for surgery.

Some requirements are from the Surgeon and from may be from the insurance. I had cardiac clearance (EKG, and for me because of family history- Echo and Stress test) , pulmonary clearance (I did not have to do sleep test for sleep apnea), psych clearance, abdominal sonogram... can't remember what else... as well as meeting with the dietitian and pre-surgery diet.

Same as above ^ but adding blood work.
