Soup

Now that the heat is letting up, I am missing hot soup. I know noodles are out. How do we manage no liquids 30 minutes before and after and still enjoy a high protein soup? Thanks in advance.

Most people opt to drink the broth first and then eat the solids. There is no reason to wait 30 minutes after drinking to eat.

Thanks. Good information.

I make very thick soups or "stoup" which is a combination of soup and stew.  I will let it simmer until almost all liquid is gone.

With a beef vegetable soup I add barley.

I eat meat and vegetable soup/stew all the time.  Broth first and then solids.   Make your own to ensure good nutrition

Most often, we do make our own soup. Will follow this plan. Thanks
