How much do you exercise?

I'm just a day over 7 weeks out, so I'm about where you are.  I've just joined a gym to start swimming, though do to a cold and some unfortunate situations, I've only been able to go once so far.  (It will be twice tonight!)  

My goal is to spend one hour in the pool 5 days a week, preferably in the early morning to get it out of the way.  For now, most of my hour is spent walking in the pool and doggy paddling, but I'm hoping to increase my strength as time goes on, mainly by taking swimming lessons.  Ideally, I'll eventually be able to do the breast stroke or something like that for a straight hour.  Burns calories, helps muscle building, and helps cardio!  

And now off to the gym,

I find that weightloss is about 80% of what's going on in my kitchen. I exercise but I find better results from watching what I eat closely.

Absolutely. I track everything that I eat as well.

I just feel better when I am working out.  I was unable to work out the past month for health reasons and I find myself feeling weak and tired.  Before that I worked out 4 - 5 times per week for an hour.  I was feeling really strong and my walking speed had almost doubled.  The big difference for me is how I feel and how my body firms up.

Right now, due to end of year and having to meet quotas, I can barely make skating. I try to walk at lunch but I am starting to feel tense and "crazy".

Exercise is my happy place (or at least gets me there). When I cant exercise, I am NOT happy.

RNY Surgery: 12/31/2013; 

Current weight (2/27/2015) 139lbs, ~14% body fat

Three pounds below Goal!!! Yay !

So just to clarify where I am coming from, I know that what I eat is super important. I am not saying that it isn't. I changed my eating habits and have been working on maintaining healthy habits long before I went the surgery route. I look at surgery as a tool as one of many tools in my toolbox to help me get healthier. Before surgery, I had been been going to the gym and I am into strength training which does help build muscle tone and did support weight loss. I plan to go back to working out more intensely as I get further out from surgery. I was just curious what others do. If you don't exercise, that's cool. But I would really like to hear from those who do.

yoga twice a week, strength training twice a week, and some kind of water activity twice a week (swimming, water aerobics, or aqua zumba)

As already mentioned, the exercise isn't primarily for weight loss, and unless you do a lot of it, won't significantly increase your weight loss.

I had two bad knees, so -- like many others -- did little exercise while I was losing. I am 8 years out and maintain my weight loss without any formal exercise other than using my recumbent bike a couple of times a week and walking the dogs a couple of times a week.

Just build up your exercise routine as you are able.
