What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Congratulations! You'll rock it, I'm sure!! A friend of mine is trying to convince me to do the LA Marathon in February, but so far I'm resisting . . . BUT I may use you as motivation and go for it!
Peanut butter popcorn sounds amazing! Do you just nuke the PB to melt it?? How much do you use??? This Peanut Butter lover NEEDS TO KNOW!!!
Good Morning! You guys, I have a confession: I suck at taking my vitamins. There. I said it. I'm good at my multi because I take that when I'm prepping breakfast (and it's a chewable), but the rest of the day is kind of touch and go. All the spacing of the iron and calcium is a pain in the ass and I tend to forget. I know I'm whining a little, but my goal for today is to take all 15 of my vitamins. Baby steps, right? There has got to be an easier way.
Time since surgery: 14 months
B: coffee, HB egg and a L&F Greek Toasted Coconut Vanilla
S: Pistachio ThinAddictives and a LC wedge
L: Buffalo chicken salad on 34 degree crackers with an ounce of pepperoni cheddar. That **** is so good.
D: No clue. I need to grocery shop, that's for sure.
TOTALS w/o dinner: Cals: 647 Protein: 61 Carbs: 40 Fat: 26
Have a great day!
I hear ya on the vitamins!! This is long history for me sucking at taking meds. I'm *much* better at it now- but know I know I'm not perfect, I can tell when certain things last me long then they should. And having reminder apps on my phone doesn't help cause with the amount of vitamins I'm taking, it goes off *constantly*. I typically either miss one of my 3 calcium doses, or 1 of the two a multivitamin doses, because they are scheduled for after 8pm and many many nights I fall asleep before taking that last dose.
Good luck getting on track with them today!

So, I've had my two iron pills and 2 D3s out on my desk in from of me for over an hour and I still haven't taken them. WTH is wrong with me? LOL

I am doing okay with vitamins but I am still just a few months out and I wonder if I will be able to keep up with the regiment after a year or if I will get lazy. Right now I have alarms that go off on my phone to literally remind me to eat, drink, take vitamins, etc. It's kind of ridiculous. I'm intrigued by the patch, but my team wants to investigate it before they approve it.

Exercise
It's a seriously perfect week here. Temps are in the mid-80s but no humidity, brught blue skies and a light breeze. I plan to be outside walking every second that I can! But formally, I am going to run (jog) a mile today, non-stop! And tonight I will do an hour on the elliptical while I watch Sense8!
