Hello all: just bought my second month of vitamins and I have sticker shock. I hope there are ideas on here for good, reasonable resources. Anything on line?

Thanks

What did you buy and from where?

Now that I can swallow whole pills. I buy my vitamins from BJ's. I buy their calcium and multivitamin. I think each bottle was $11 or $12 buck and and has 500 tablets. Those will last me a few months.

I also keep a separate stock at work so I don't have to restock from home. Those are CVS brand, and got those buy one get one free.

I was getting my chewable calcium from vitamin shoppe (bariatic advantage). The bottle they sold barely lasted me a month- I was happy when I was able to swallow whole pills.

I have my B-sub lingual from vitamin shop, but have a dosage that only requires I take it 3x's per week. The bottle should last me for a few more months.

I bought Flintstones chewables initially for my mutli-- but not form the vitamin shoppe. Initially the vitamin cost are higher since it has to be chewable-- but once you can swallow, you have more options and there are more sales you can take advantage of.

before I moved to patches (which are less expensive for the multi but more for the side supplements) I got my D3 and B12 from unjury.com the opurity vitamins...also vitamin lady has good iron and other items for inexpensive.

I get the CVS store brand BOGO also. It cost me 12 bucks for a 2 year supply.

Costco (has chewables not gummys) or Amazon has great prices.  I have the prime membership and it has paid itself off many times over.

Can anyone tell me about when you can switch back to pills?  I had a really hard time with chewables, so switched to liquid, which is super expensive too.  I'd love to get back to the regular vitamins at some point.  hopefully in the near future?
