Good Afternoon, everyone!  I played hooky from work this morning... but only because I had an eye doctor appointment.  I am officially without glasses again!  Granted, my cloudy right eye is about useless, but the left one is doing so well that he says I am fine without them, and I haven't worn them all week anyway.

After the eye doctor, DH and I went to a deli for lunch.  We both ordered a sandwich with a side and were shocked that it was only $20.  We ate lunch and reminisced about the days when we would both order a sandwich, a side, an extra side, split an order of nachos, get a dessert each, and sometimes also opt for a loaded baked potato to split.  (And I would always get a salad with chicken to-go for lunch the next day). I don't think we've ever eaten at this deli for under $60.  Eating less is sure helpful to the wallet!

After the deli, we went on a journey to find someone to cut my hair. I went ahead and did it! 9ish inches all cut off and ready to ship to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths!  Pics in my profile/blog!  I came home and showered right away, and undid the cute 'do the stylist gave me, oops.  I'm so excited to have shorter showers, not having to worry about getting my hair dry!  It's the little things!

Good for you for getting your hair cut! Very dramatic!  And, double kudos for donating the hair... its a great cause!

Also, I read your blog entry on the cookies. I don't know if I would have had the courage to face eating them so good for you! And, keep in mind, you are not going to be able to do this after WLS... you are not going to be able to handle the volume and most likely, you won't be able to handle the sugar.

We all make mistakes and screw up... it is human nature. Good for you for admitting it. Today and tomorrow is a new day!  Head hunger is a cursed thing. I actually got frustrated with a co-worker who knew I had surgery, who was handing out some Teddy Graham snacks... saying to me... I know you can't and don't want these but I don't want you to feel left out so I am offering you some just in case.  Well, you know darn well I wanted them! But after that, who could admit it! Thank God, she was looking out for me in my moment of weakness!
