Morning, all! AV, that breakfast sounds divine!
It's a lovely day here, too, though I'll be inside all day.
The swimming at the gym yesterday was so much fun. Tiring, but fun. I'm going to be going at the tail end of the night, as the pool is less busy then. Unfortunately, their juice bar is closed then- I might arrive earlier tonight just to get a juice and store it in my locker for after the swim. I'm looking at this one, which has 149 cals and 12 grams of protein: Almondmilk, Coconutmilk, Spinach, Vanilla Extract, PANATEA Matcha Green Tea, Mint, Vegan Vanilla Protein
Nom!

Good for you! Doesn't it feel great to be more active?!
My gym doesn't offer any kind of shakes... which is probably good for my pocketbook! Dang, money is so friggin' tight and when did everything get so expensive. I was talking to a complete stranger at the grocery store (kind of a cute complete stranger) on how it might be cheaper to buy a calf and raise it then pay what I was paying for a chuck roast and what he was paying for a couple of steaks. But, then, even though I am a farmer's daughter, I cannot eat what I raise... I can milk them and use their eggs... just not eat them!!! Anyway... I digress... just be mindful of the sugars in the shakes... looking at your ingredients, there probably shouldn't be much but with our pouches, we just need to be more mindful.
Hi lcraver- It does feel great! Granted, I'm dreading working out tonight, but I know once I get in the water my mood will change. *nods* Indeed, things are expensive- Which is probably why it's good I'll usually be arriving when the shake place is closed LOL
I'll certainly be mindful of the sugars- That's an excellent point that hadn't occurred to me. *facepalm* Just because they are made by the gym doesn't mean they were thinking of a RNY way of eating!
BTW, I'd never be able to eat what I raise, either- When I was a kid, we had chickens at my dad's and were originally going to use them for eggs and meat, but my sister and I threw such a fit that we only used them for eggs.
Cluck cluck,

Oh heck, I was raised on a dairy farm... my dad only raised a couple of steers a year for meat and made sure to keep them separate from us girls (there were 6 of us)... and he kept the pigs at a neighbor's farm... and we were NEVER allowed to be around when they were butchering. When I was a teenager, I figured it was because all the men were probably drinking... but now, I realize they were drinking and didn't want a bunch of squalling little kids around! LOL
My sister has chickens now and some of her hens are past laying age but she still keeps them around because she says they are in "retirement"... we are all just all too soft hearted!
LOL AV, sounds like something I would have done.
It is indeed glorious and I would love to play hooky as well. I should have been born wealthy or at least married it.
